First come, first served.
(basically, you want it? you can paypal me, or hand me cash in hand. otherwise, I'm not holding this sale. too many people never end up closing the deal in the end).
also, i get impatient. and i get second thoughts. these pieces also have some sentimental value so the longer it takes to close the deal, the greater my desire to change my mind.

Price? I have something in mind but I prefer if interested parties make me an offer.
Shipping? You will cover it.
Ebay? No, this is a private sale. Ebay has too many restrictions.

you want to contact me? do so here or at my email kumi at kumimonster dot come.

time to move on,...

i only wore this thing twice. once out at a san francisco fetish ball
the other for a shoot.
unfortunately, i don't have very many good photos of this dress.

it's a violet single sleeve dress (left side) and the top of the dress has a portion that folds over at an angle.
The bottom hem has an asymmetrical cut before "fishtailing" out in a double ruffle accent - that's where the plum (burgundy) comes in.
The inner ruffle is in plum, as is the fringe.
There is also a large violet flower.

The last photo (shot during a german sunset by roman kasperski) shows off the purple colour best.

ok s
next thing is a pair of trousers.
I don't really have a great shot of them though but I'll see what I can do.

Quite some time ago, I realized that I like wearing my latex comfortably - that is, I preferred to not have to be all cinched in all the time.
I also wanted freedom of movement as well as the ability to sit how I wanted and maybe even wear shoes that didn't require constant supervision after a few shots.
So then, I got these trousers from Vex Clothing. They're wide leg and at the top are 5 wide belt loops which happen to fit the belt I'm selling with the trousers. (Go figure!)

On the VexClothing website there is a style of pants that are similar (Lucite Pants) but not quite. Again, mine are wide legged.
http://www.vexclothing.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=22_25&products_id=160

Here are some nice photos of Bianca Beauchamp:
I can't quite tell if her versions include the belt loops or if they're hidden under her vest - maybe not.

http://pics.livejournal.com/kumimonster/pic/001ty2yk  http://pics.livejournal.com/kumimonster/pic/001tze9z

Here's a camera phone shot of the tops of my trousers:

http://pics.livejournal.com/kumimonster/pic/001tp9bd/s320x320

There are two belt loops in the front, two at each side, and one in the center at the rear.

Measured flat around the waist is just under 15"
at the point where the two front belt loops end i get around 17.5"
a couple of inches lower than that point i get 19"

The leg has an inseam of 34" so plenty of length going on.

This is the belt. It's black and double lined in rivets.

001w0bf9

Each end snaps around the belt "buckle".
There are two spots you can snap into so it's slightly adjustable.
Oh, and my belt comes with a lucite leopard rectangle and the circular white/black deco round.

The latex on the belt is looking a little dull, It'll need some polishing if you like it shiny.
I never minded cuz sometimes I like that faded look (and i'm lazy)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was my favorite piece for the longest time.
It's marked "M" but no way! Or maybe I've exceeded size M? Hmm...

This is a 3-piece set and essentially it was probably the first one.
On the inside you'll notice that some of the construction seems a bit piece-meal but it's the outside that counts right? Well, more on the injuries on this piece in a bit...

So it's obviously violet and lime green. The photos pretty much describe all the awesome parts. I'm going to go into detail about the not-so-good parts now.
These are the bottoms:

The right hip has a small tear in one of the folded pleats.
This will probably need to be mended eventually. It should be simple enough.
I never got around to it because I never planned on wearing this piece again (and look like a manatee in latex - albeit cute rubber).

This is the bandeau top:

In the photos above, i'm wearing it with the two longer straps tied around my neck as a halter. Really those two straps aren't long enough for that to be practical. I think they're more for decoration. Also, there's no way in hell I could fit into this top now because for some reason my boobs have expanded. If you've got something massive going on upstairs, this probably will not be very comfortable!

Bathing cap:

Most awesome with 3 nice sized flowers. Kind of tight at the neck though (I didn't have hair to fill up my cap!)

SOLD
This is a light pink dress with transparent pink accents.
the photo shown here by steve dg was used in a series of vex promo postcards

the strips of latex make up the top portion of the dress, meet at the back of the neck, then hang down to the lower back.
I'm wearing pasties in the b/w photo.
i have the pasties and they will come with the dress but they're not pristine. (the back has glue from being used. you can always order more).

the hem is cut at an angle.

this image was shot when i was in greece. might get a better idea of colour here.

A few years ago I had an idea i wanted to see put into latex.
I ended up talking about it to laura from [livejournal.com profile] vex_clothing  and she came through brilliantly.
they feature stained glass patterns based off of frank lloyd wright and charles rennie mackintosh designs

the collection has never been shown together although a couple years ago there was an attempt to show to pieces at the SF FetishBall.
that totally fell through.

in any case, there's now a featured gallery over at the website
www.vexclothing.com

go take a lookie loo!

this is where i went to high school for a year.

one of 15 entries from Marla Rutherford (me).
i am supposed to be back in the EU in July
(a gig in Ibiza - oh the horrors!)
perhaps a long due trip to the south of france would be convenient!
(but back to the US in August for Fetishcon)

kumimonster: (hw balloon)

i've only ever shot once in dress. a black n white set with [profile] stevedietgoedde

me n [profile] ostanine figured we should try it in color,
(and i was actually lucky it still fit me! uggghh!)

the whole set's just uploaded to my site though.
and um, it's really easy to tell that i'm not a natural blonde cuz the curtains really don't match the carpet!
hahaha

kumimonster: (chrisVex)
hey

so i wont be writing everyone that wrote to me about the vex show immediiately.
it will take some time and i have to send all the stuff to laura to say 'yea' or 'nea' as well after we figure out the designs and who could wear what n all.
we're also trying to figure out how many girls we will actually need as some girls (um....<lj user="emilymarilyn">) can't figure out if they're coming or not til the last minute!

it will be sooner-ish rather than later-ish  as i like to have these things set in advance but probably at least not until i get back to the US.
(the party isn't til March remember!)
kumimonster: (lind Kabuki)
ok. so to clarify more on the model search thingy for the SFball:

i will need 7 models total.

the theme this year is Metropolis.

Vex already has an idea in mind for the latex pieces that will be shown.
We will be presenting a show featuring the architectural/franklloydwright-inspired things.
Some of these pieces will also include part of my personal wardrobe (they've never been shown before in such a form).

That means, at the very least, the models should be able to fit into my pieces (have measurements not larger than mine).
Of course, new garments will also be produced which will allow for some leeway.

Think fierce and fashion, rather than alternative or freaky fetish. Think skyscrapers and deco glamorous.
no, there will be no platform chunky shoes in this show. (i hate those and it wont look good with the clothes)

i hate big fancy routines at fetish event fashion shows. there are no big spectacles planned and no big dance number for models to memorize.
The models will simply walk and pose (not vogue though). So i need the girls to be substantially striking and be able to carry off the designs.

Email: If you send me email, DONT put things like Hey", or "what's up?" or just "Kumi". it ends up going to spam.
at least if there's SFfetishball or Vex in the subject line, i can search for it and pull it out of the spam folder and forward it off instead of just letting it sit there forever.

here are images of the style we are going for (latex-wise)
