A. Where are you from and how did you get involved in the fetish scene?
B. When did you first know about your personal fetish?
C. Is fetish a "lifestyle" for you or do you just dress up when you party? Meaning, do you dress-up at home privately, for yourself or with your partner?

Born in asia and my involvement came around cause in 89 someone started explaining kink to me online and later in 94 I found an online mailing list that had such topics discussed.
B. When did you first know about your personal fetish?
Not sure this applies to me. I was weird but its not really anything specific. Unless you are talking about my sepcific fetish for fleece.
C. Is fetish a "lifestyle" for you or do you just dress up when you party? Meaning, do you dress-up at home privately, for yourself or with your partner?
I always dress up for anything whether its for fetish events or non fetish events. Not sure how parts of this question are mutually exclusive. I don't like to confine myself in a box and perfer not to categorize myself in funny, inane ways.

Originally Boston, now Chicago; but moving to Europe. Beh.
B. When did you first know about your personal fetish?
You mean, there was a time when I didn't have it? That's too frightening for words... :P I started topping when I was 17 and I poked my way around that.
C. Is fetish a "lifestyle" for you or do you just dress up when you party? Meaning, do you dress-up at home privately, for yourself or with your partner?
I, personally, don't understand the whole "lifestyle" Vs. "non lifestyle" thang. But, I don't go out and mostly wear the fetish stuff at home. I'd enjoy wearing it out, but I don't get the chance to go out being super mom and all.... :)
A. Where are you from and how did you get involved in the fetish scene?
animals.
Fetish? I'm still not feeling I am "on the same page" with what people mean when they say fetish. The multilogue Midori (Fetish Diva!) started in my mind a year and a half ago is still cacaphonous and not ready for prime time.
And while I can greatly appreciate and enjoy people dressing special and people having stimulation and affinity from certain costumery, there's gotta be more than meets the eye. And I'm primarily a voyeur and I say that emphatically.
cheers.

B) I had fantasies involving bondage for almost as long as I can remember. I read the "Story of O" at 19 and wanted to be like O more than anything. Started going to Sin-A-Matic at 21 and the rest is...
C) I don't dress up at home as much as I used to. I seem to feel less of a need to wear the gear at home when it's part of my job. Because it was always more about playing, the fashion was secondary. But I'd say fetish & bdsm is my entire life, basically.
Quick answers
A. London UK; about ten years ago through friends
B. How singular - I have quite a few fetishes! First was probably in my teens, others 'discovered' every so often through either 'show and tell' (or rather 'watch and try')
C. Lifestyle, or at least not only when partying but also when just going out to shops or visiting vanilla friends (ahuh!)
responses
- Born in SF, raised in Oakland. Grew amongst gay folks, leathermen, watched public SM not really knowing what the heck I was seeing -- but I liked it. Looking back, I think there were a number of people in my world who participated in SM ... but fetishism wasn't a part of my realities until a bit later.
Got to know the folks that are near and dear to my heart thanks to one of Midori's then-subs inviting me to her book-signing party.
B. When did you first know about your personal fetish?
- There are no inanimate objects that turn me on such that I cannot explore my sexuality without them. There are plenty of things that I associate with sex or pleasure ... but I don't need them. I do get off on hemp rope (taste and feel), latex, stockings, high heels, boots, leather and the personal scent of someone that I'm intimately connected with.
C. Is fetish a "lifestyle" for you or do you just dress up when you party? Meaning, do you dress-up at home privately, for yourself or with your partner?
- I have many lifestyles. Sure, I dress up for myself in the quietness of my home, I wear leather/latex to non-fetish clubs for the hell of it, I enjoy my lovers' reactions to what I'm wearing ... all of that is to say, fetish gear is a part of my wardrobe, but it doesn't define me.
A good friend hipped me to that what I deem to be un-sexy or what I question would attract others, probably turns some segment of the population on. I think he's right about that.

From California, moved to Seattle, played around with girlfriend, had read stuff like Story of O, Variations from Penthouse and certain things on TV, met some others in the scene from Beyond the Edge, play parties and the wonderful Mortal City and have been hooked ever since...
B. When did you first know about your personal fetish?
Had odd dreams about age nine or ten about bound women, any cop drama be it black or white where people were put in jail, handcuffed, prison-camps, left me terribly interested and very excited fetishes have been developing ever since, they are like stamps or tatoos you can never have too many.
C. Is fetish a "lifestyle" for you or do you just dress up when you party? Meaning, do you dress-up at home privately, for yourself or with your partner?
Fetish is a lifestyle in my opinion wether you dress up or no, it is like mental armor or clothes that you cloak yourself in...always present but not always needed or visible
