Sitting in class right now. I know it's an interesting one, but I can't seem to find myself enthralled by it. My Middle East history Prof is very knowledgeable, but I've noticed a few things. Whenever I or someone else in class raises their hand to pose a question, he usually responds by deflecting it somehow. He answers the question by asking another and then responding to the second one he asks and kind of going in circles.

The other thing that sucks is the fact that we're skipping so much in this class. No early Ottoman empire aside from a quick summary. No Sumer. No Mesopotamia. No Assyrians. No Crusades. No ancient history really. Simply modern history with a quick background on Islam. I guess there's only so much you can cover in a single summer session concentrated and compacted into 6 weeks.

There's a girl in my class who talks to herself. The other day she farted and started giggling although most everyone else ignored or didn't even hear her. Heh. I did.
