just woke up
went over to misscon's house yesterday and passed out last nite after finally getting around to seeing SAW.
also watched Exorcist too.
and Jay n Silent Bob.

someone called here earlyish but others are still asleep.
no matter.
must escape and get ready for shoot today.

two weeks in a row now.
two sundays in a row that i've had to wake up early.
though last week i was awake much earlier! (6am)

home and shower and shave and latex packin...

so my puter turned on ok this AM

a couple days ago it was really taking the shit
it'd freeze up like macs are prone to do, but when i did that hard quit thing, right after it started up again, it would die.
hitting the power button to turn it on to work again, but only for a second or two.

also, some time ago i used Entourage for my email. but something was causing it to quit when messages would come in.
after being on the phone for ever with their helpline, the problem was never fixed.
i was forced to use that wimpy version Outlook.

Well now Outlook is doing the same thing.
i can send messages but not receive.

dammit.
i think my puter will die soon.
:-(
need to find an replacement puter.

great shoots today

i was asked to model at a workshop this afternoon and so i figured why the hell not
extra cash is never really extra
and it's all good.

plus, 3 groups of shooters. 9 in two and 10 in one of them.
so i got to speed shoot with 28 photographers in 3 groups during 3 rounds of shooting.
(with each photographer getting a decent amount of focused time, ie. i follow his direction if there's any and remain focused on his camera unless asked otherwise).

this also means 28 new contacts - potential contacts.
also an opportunity for more work
but the cool part,
in addition to gaining the experience of working with differing shooting styles in a controlled athmosphere.
control in the sense that aside from changing a wig or taking one off, the set was the set and once each round commenced, the entire group would shoot one at a time, one after the other.
it was necessary to be able to figure out what each photog wanted and the style of shooting/mood they wanted to attempt.
lots of adapting and ad libing too.

I realiized that i CAN do this and i think i did do this quite well.
and i ran out of business cards.
i wonder if i can find any hiding somewhere in my room
ACK!

oh and in doing this, the studio gives models/photographers %50 discounts on the price of studio rental :)
grr. they dont have a website :(

oh. and talked to madison young for a lil bit too.
she was cool.

tho now that i'm home, i forgot to pick up my latex from misscon or get her to lend me corsets n shit.
