woke up at 3am today.
i guess it's the jetlag.
unpacked and bagged all the latex.
i need new storage bins.
been reading up on different eye surgery methods
but in the end, i guess i'm just going to get to the dr and see what he says as far as my options. this wont happen i fear before my return to europe.
i've only a week here until i head off for los angeles.
i dont want to rush it. those longhaul flights would really suck without having my vision, as well as the rest of my life. i'd prefer to keep my sight.
speaking of which,
i actually slept a little on the flight from the UK.
but of course, i got to check out movies.
watched:
flags of our fathers. (i think i'll check this out again as i kept switching stations to try and find 'creature comforts' which actually isn't on the UK to US leg)
marie antoinette. utter crap.
the guardian. i dont like kevin costner or that other guy, but this wasn't too bad.
pierrepoint. i liked this the best. i'd pick it up on dvd if/when it comes out.

A well-executed biopic of Britain’s most famous hangman. Timothy Spall takes the title role as Albert Pierrepoint who retired in 1956 after escorting more than 450 convicts to the gallows. This is an eerie portrait of a man more concerned with doing an efficient job than with the morals of his grisly trade. The big payoff may seem added for dramatic effect, but it is all too horribly true.
supposed to drive up to SF again today for eats with DavidTG and Viktoria.
they say they're flight leaves around 7 or 8pm for the UK.
