[profile] smy1 has been here since yesterday.
we've been getting fat.
well not him, just me n [profile] ynl
ended up walking to Bento but instead got Vietnamese food across from the Stables. then hung out a bit at Nino's shop.
came home n all 3 of us sat on our Macs.
there's a new bakery up on the high street and the other day i picked up a blue cheese and pesto baguette which we noshed on with pate.

tried to do some website work but passed out.
i am getting a new webmaster.
my current one is non-responsive and updates are continuously late and all the little errors, inconsistencies, and typos on the site are so glaringly apparent to me. it's irritating. i wonder why i bother doing all the work i do to prepare the updates if it's all going up on  a site i'm not even satisfied with.

anyhoo, i'll be dealing with that in the next couple of weeks - i hope i can find the time! i'll have to make it.

i really need to get to packing. tomorrow i head back to San Francisco. Been looking up flight info and it seems US carriers are now charging for more than one check in bag - for international flights too (if i'm not mistaken). Fuckers. At least British Airways hasn't done that. Tried to pay for upgrade on my flight but the extra costs are around £6359.00 so I think I will just take the seat I'm in though I will show up early in fancy clothes and see if smiling for an upgrade works - it's happened before.

I'll get to check out terminal 5 which i've wanted to see for a while now. Car is reserved for tomorrow. Good.
----

Sent off email to FetishCon and Kinky Festival peeps so they can sort out my flights together (London-Montreal-Tampa/San Francisco-London). I really hope they get things sorted as I don't want them to experience what I just did with the LHR-SFO-LHR that was £326, then all of a sudden £555 follwed by £641 - all within the span of a few days. shit. BA for the most of it, but looks like i'll have to do frikken United for the Montreal to Tampa via Washington D.C. (I can't recall if i've been in that airport before. oh well, i like airports).

Which also brings me to a question:
Upon flying in from Canada, is there immigration to go through still? For some reason I remember it being taken care of at the departure when I was in Canada last (Toronto). I'm wondering because there's about a 40 minute stopover/change in DC. I know coming IN from the UK at SFO, everyone has to go through customs/immigration at SFO but for some reason, I can't remember the procedures for Canada.

heh
