so new york has been cold, in case i haven't mentioned it enough times.
it's been really nice to see Adrien and I'd never met his husband before.
The night I landed we went out to eat at this yummy place (forgot the name)
I had spiced chicken with this yummy apple mashed potatoes.
Mussels n crab ravioli for appetizers.

And then hit the patisserie across the street from the flat.
The owner asked us how long we'd known each other and it was at that point we realized it was almost 25 years
(we even have photos of us going to high school proms together).
My mom really liked Adrien. Wanted me to date/marry him n everything. heh.

Yesterday we went down to Astor Place and he met my tattoo guy, Patrick Conlon.
We realized we've known each other for like 17ish years now.
And it took about just as long for him to actually finish my back piece.
(it's not my fault he moved here from san francisco).
It's just about healed it seems. I will find out for sure in the shower.
It's itching a bit though - trying to not scratch.
ugh

Now I need to figure out what else I want done.
I know I want something, just can't figure out what.
I have ideas at least, and I know what i do not want.

After the tattoo, had a couple of shots at the bar next door to East Side Ink.
Bad idea. I think the alcohol ended up just slamming me down hard.
Should've just stayed up from the endorphins buzzing inside of me.
Instead, jumped in a cab and stumbled up the stairs and landed in bed.
Adrien woke me up in time to get dressed and meet up with cute hubby Ken at Indochine.

sea bass, crab cakes, duck confit and these yummy lychee raspberry drinks (non alcoholic).

I've been in bed all morning. It's too cold to go out though I really must go get my nails done.
There's a bunch around here so hopefully the one I pick wont screw up my nails more.
