so a while ago, i opened up this bank account.
it's all good because it's in Euros (cuz it's in Greece)

I figure no problem because I don't need to really access my money in person.
(makes it more difficult to spend it and i don't need help with spending money.

i figure internet banking is perfectly fine for me.
thing is, they told me i could set it up remotely
since they had my signature card and private info.
as it turns out, a few months later, i'm told this is not the case and i have to walk my ass into a branch.

so no problem.
there is a national bank of greece in London.
well, there is one, but it's not really connected with the others
so i'm told that i need to actually go to greece to do this.

a few months later i decide to take a few days and get my butt over to Athens.
i go to the branch and do the paperwork and the man gives me my secret code machine and stuff.
he tells me once i get the paperwork for my user ID (which comes in the mail to my Cali addy) to call up and have them turn the secret code machine on.
since this will take a little while, he suggests i take out cash (of course i do).
couple weeks in vienna, then off to london.
ring up pop and ask him to check mail for paperwork (yippee!)
get online to log into my account,
secret code power key fob doesnt work.
this is really fucked.
i write. no response.
i go to atlanta.
i write, thanks so much for help, but it was a big waste of time and money.
response: am i pressing the button right? DUH
i just wrote another email and still no response.
i called the svc number and they gave me the number to the branch where i just spoke to the guy who helped me
"remember me? I'm the one that lives in California yet had to fly to Athens and sit in a cab to Piraeus to do this thing"
what did he say? oh yea "we're working on resolving the problem. when it is sorted, we will email you."
pretty much nothing else.
this really fucking sucks.

at least i wont be spending the money while it's trapped in there.
but I need to sort out what to do with the money that people need to wire me.
caca

my friend Mirka Lugosi has a new site.
She's the one who is usually taking behind the scenes videos of me during my shoots with Gilles Berquet and being a little spy in her own house.

She models, she draws, she writes, she makes videos and she makes yummy dessert!

Her site is here:

oh nude stockings with fancy black ankle accent have been sitting here!
just found the package
:-)

thank you [livejournal.com profile] mrstocking !!!!!!
now then, do i save them for shoots or actually use and wear them the next time I go out!

i think i'm watching something so horrid and by the time i finish - if i make it that far, it will be a joy to delete from my computer.
(war wolves)
on second thought, i think now is a good time.
back to working on that age of empires campaign!
