so tomorrow I'm driving up to the Armoury in San Francisco.
Seems the Kink.com wardrobe dept wants to check out what I am selling.
It'll be nice to get rid of my things en masse like that because it'll save a bunch of time
but it kind of sucks too.
I like knowing that my items are going to nice individual homes & owners.
not that the people at kink aren't nice, but well, i don't know.
it just seems different than dealing with a fetishist that might appreciate a particular item a little bit more. Once it lands in the wardrobe dept, no one there is going to care that a certain dress might have been the first dress i designed for a particular company and the only one of it's kind. Almost each of my garments holds a bit of my personal fetish history and is capable of triggering fun memories or initiating a reflection of the past.
it's almost as if i've turned my fetish garment into a... fetish - but the other non-sexual definition of the word!
that is, the latex item which normally elicits a sexual reaction due to my affinity for the stuff has now been transformed into something that now embodies and inspires much more than just a sexual reaction - it holds my past.
hmm. maybe i should take a few things out of the box i've prepared for tomorrow.

so i really can't believe that i got all those cancellations at once still.
i suppose i could say that i prompted it - not the actual canceling but the timing.
i had sent out emails reconfirming shoot details.
of course, luckily it did happen before so i had options.
i keep thinking on what i'm missing out on though.
being able to see friends in london, paris, & amsterdam.
being able to see friends that really need to be seen.
see friends get married.
see cool web conference and crash fancy dinner party with friend that have super cool people attending where people have to bow or curtsy for reals.
i miss out on shoots with cutie eric martin and super gilles berquet.
i miss out on a new performance i wanted to do.
but i need to remind myself that i've done all those things before (ok not ALL) and i will do them again, most likely in March/April when i fly back.
And while here in the Cali, i can hang out with family.
And, i can also fly around the states.
And, i can keep my fingers crossed again that i'm going to China...

so now, i am working on my jan/feb/mar schedules for the US
and mar/apr/may/etc schedule for the EU.
mar/april seems to be coming thru really nicely.
looks like london, edinburgh, vienna, bologna, london
i do need to fit paris somewhere... maybe in may...?
