hello august, latex, visitors

still not much going on.
trying to be happy and social.
job situation still sucks. have an interview for a new one tomorrow.
what kind of job, you ask? the kind that makes money.
hopefullly i can get my ass back in school and get the new career type of job that will make me happy - (i said happy, not rich).

for a while there i thought i might be headed over to montreal for that fetish shindig - just cuz someone wanted me to go with them.
but i have to concentrate on job things so that little hiccup in thinking has now passed.

in other more recent good news, some peoples from Edinburgh-land came to visit!
princealbert  and poisonduk to be exact.
They've been all around but I joined them for a bit of their northern california, san francisco bay area, peninsula, mini-geek tour then later on in the late evening for some food at the fog city diner. Most of our time was spent at the computer history museum. it was fun - and  only 5 minutes from my house! literally!

oh, and before that, i went to a reunion. there was this club i used to go to as a teen (and a little older too). it was called one step beyond in santa clara. i went, and i didn't get drunk. (i think the best part was waking up the next day without a hangover.
