GO TO A DR!! I'm an exdrinker (6 years this month), while I was recovering I realized I had given myself an ulcer.. I'm not sure anymore what it felt like but it didn't start suddenly. Depending on exactly where the pain is it could be any number of things, but were I in your shoes I would not drink untill it's checked out. Hopefully it's nothing much.

I recently started having them and then learned that its often caused by a alck of adequate potasium in your diet. Bananas are a quick and fast way to get it naturlaly or in vitamins. You don't take it directly cause it can cause sever stomach problems. I started eating banaas three tiems a wekk and the cramps went away right away.

forgot to say that if it is in stomach.it may well be ulcers.............and alcohol is someting to immediatly elimate from consumption. if it is in lower GI.it coudl be divaritulosis or irritable bowel syndrome. Many women do get it at an early age. I would cut the alcohol out immediatly reguardless of what it is caue it is a major irritant.

Check it out,if it's nothing then you at least have peace of mind,
if it's something you save yourself the "Why didn't you come in earlier" thing.

The colon is on the left. I've had every test known to humankind and there is nothing wrong with mine, yet I have consistent pain. I am a survivor of endometriosis, with an especially large cyst on my left utero-sacral ligament. Damn! You may just need extra fiber. There is a way to dose yourself with Metamucil (gross) which actually helps. Hang in there.
