February in Santa Cruz

Last month was the annual clam chowder cook off in Santa Cruz and I booked a hotel for the weekend (a few months ago actually!)
This year Samar came with - as usual - and Adam joined us after recently moving to the bay area.

The weather was great and we couldn't have asked for better - actually i would've preferred hotter.
Anyway, the clam chowda was yummy and it was a full on weekend of all sorts of eating.
And of course, I got to stop by the Pono Grill on Friday night too
