much too much studying and working

i think this african history thing is gonna be harsh tomorrow
it's a great class but a lot more difficult since most of us have never had any previous background in it aside from egypt of course. so it's like there's no point of reference or famililarity with the subject.
but it is damn interesting and the prof is great.
the south african stuff is interesting and cool. esp all the stuff with the zulu.
i need to get the names down still.
west african names keep falling out of my head. i need to figure out how to remember those names and dates. grr

not enough

sleep for me last nite
fell asleep around 5 am and for some reason i woke up at 10.
good timing though it seems.
i had to complete a project proposal for a primary source paper that was due today in my noon cali history class. i just emailed that in.
i have my econ class just after it but after looking at the prof's website, the final is going to be on THURS! yippee. today is just review and i think i can actually skip that. phew!

tonite is the cincher though. african history. and we received our essay part of the test early so we can prep for it. so the prof will expect very good work this evening.

can i make it if i go directly to school?
prolly not likely.
so nap today for a bit. like right now. and then some essay prep time and reading. then we conquer the test! ok. maybe not conquer but attempt to hold our defenses!!!

i did it.
i took my african history midterm and although i didnt ace it (i'm sure) i think i did do well enough. i suppose i'll just have to wait and see.
the parts that got more difficult were when we had to remember all the lil jihads n groups n things.
it'll be all G tho!
sure of it.
