i skipped that gallery show thing tonite.
it would have been good to go to n whatnot, but instead i came straight home from school

in fact, i got out of school early today.
i had my hist of cali class and my prof embarrased me as well.
oh well. it was about my over-enthusiastic WW2 questions.
(that's the period we're in now for that class - zoot suit riots, rosie the riveter, and japanese internment)
i also asked today, if we could finish the damn documentary we started last tues on the zoot suit riots. it was really good and the entire class was enjoying it a lot. we got to the part where um.. dias was killed and the one guy was picked up along with all of his friends for questioning. they lost the trial and were sent to quintin. 3 girls were sent to ventura reform school for girls but served longer sentences than the boys. one girl never told, but knew who the murderer was (her brother who commited suicide or something not too long afterwards).
anyways, we didnt even get up to the 5 days of riotting of the military in LA.
that's like watching all of joe millionaire in a row and then having to miss the last two episodes or some shit.
bah. well, but more important.

i've had 'the duel' on repeat for the past couple o nites.

i just want some great films WITHOUT ekin cheng in them. lol

so my WW2 test came back to me last nite. damn stoopid mistakes and my handwriting kept me from doing well. i hate writing in-class essays. i write fast when i get in a groove and it ends up looking like shorthand.
oh well.
i'm not quite sure what he gave me full credit on but it looks like ethiopia, the manchurian incident, maginot line, and dunkirk. he totally DUNKED me on the Spanish Civil War. bah. oh well.
for the essay part it was pretty good. just a summary of the conjflicts between japan and china leading up to their conflicts. stuff like manchuria and the marco polo bridge, chiang kai shek n stuff n stuff... but i didnt go beyond 1934 and i forgot to talk about more european interest concerning the East. BAH. oh well. i'll do better next time. heh.
