part one of what i remember...
things that pleased me and surprised me
notably showing up in berlin and finding out that i was in time for the cartier-bresson exhibit.
then upon my arrival in milan,
tom porta pointed out to me that Don McCullin also had a show.
i went to both. and bought things at both. hopefully the print from cartier-bresson will soon arrive.
i got to shoot with more photographers than i intended. including some i had heard of but neglected to contact because of oversite. others contacted me and schedules were adjusted to accomodate meeting up if at all possible. the new additions to my expanding resume are pretty kick ass too. And if you think i am talking about you, then let me just ask, heard any good carly simon songs lately?
i only wish i shot more often. but oh well. one cant be bothered when one is cramping due to pms or exercising one's right to do nothing at all when on holiday but just chill out with friends n shit.

in addition to them photogs, more models and non model types met in person than u could shake a stick at! well, not as many as say being at rubberball, but this was better... time was spent actually talking and drinking instead of just drinking.

some i guess i just have to get used to...
i am sadistic and i sometimes enjoy the misery of others (maybe that's why i read your LJ)
i have realized that sometimes i seem to have no pity or compassion for certain things. (maybe i just dont have the time).
i also learned that i know a shitload of people all over this damn world.
and i love meeting more and more of them in person. (meeting people irl can be damn cool).
i have learned that i like pop songs sung in romanian - yes there is one in particular - and the video has 3 animated really ghey looking boys dancing n singing on an airplane.
i can be vindictive - and i enjoy certain aspects of it.
sometimes i can be quite backwards about being forwards.
german rap that is played on mtv and that other video station really sux floppy donkey dick.
really cute boys make me want to run away.
Bikes everywhere in Italy & Germany. well mostly in Berlin. but well, not more than in Italy. ahhhh.
every street has an aprilia on it. or so it seemed. either that or a ducati. italy is where you go to see motorcycle heaven. or where they come from, eh? it is also a large scooter race. a bit annnoying but the noise was comforting still because of the fact that so many people are on 2-wheeled forms of transportation instead of being dependent on huge cars like we are here in the US.
and tho it was still on tv, rossi and gibernau at catalunya... i have a photographer i need to meet up with in barcelona... next summer. GRRRR..... count on it if things go well!
spitting distance from race tracks like Essen and Monza and for some reason i want to say Imola. HAH!
