and if i chose not to vote, then that is also my business.
if entire groups of people in various countries and at home are/have been murdered/disposed of because they wanted to vote then that's their cause they thought worth fighting for. i'm well aware of historical facts and figures as well as current day issues.
it's up to me to decide what the hell i'm going to do and just because people died for the right to vote, it doesn't mean i am obliged to do so. we also have the right to do nothing at all. i would hope if ppl did so, then it would be a conscience decision.
i dont need to be reminded to do so, and i'm sure others in lj land aren't going to go across a post saying vote or i will hate you and thing to themselves, hey, i better go run to my polling place or this person will hate me .

in other news, my new iomega CD RW 52x24x52x usb2.0 external drive is pretty kick ass so far. it's seems pretty fast so far.
i didnt get the dvd burner since i'm not particular about needing that much more space, nor do i burn movies. i prefer to buy them and have the bells and whistles of fancy packaging. hence my desire for special edition boxed sets of a variety of films.
anyone hear anything about this product? pros cons? curious...
i also picked up a new printer
my old one (several years old... like +6) died some time last year. really making submitting papers to class a bit difficult. it was a little Epson style 750.
i replaced it with this cheapO Canon that was on sale for cheap.
it's really for school so i dont need anything super fancy.
i've yet to open it though. it says Canon i475D on the box.
there's all this stuff on there about printing photos and such.
good thing is, i can stick memory cards from my digital camera in there.
i'm crossing my fingers and hoping that this also means i can transfer that info into my puter.
i just want it to be able to print letters on sheets of white paper from Word documents well.
