fuck that took forever.
3 updates a week and my site is good to go thru near the end of may.
of course there's the content i just shot recently, but i can't count on getting that in time before i leave.
basically, i go thru the discs of images i have and one by one select the images for each set by grouping them in folders.
the yuck ones get deleted. no biggie. not too difficult.
but it does get to be a pain in the ass when some images are like 1 or 2 MB.
and you're on this tiny ass puter which is making a noise like it's straining not to freeze up or just crash.
So after the bundles are made I upload them. Very slow. Makes my puter freeze up for a few seconds.
Of course, with all the images with the large MB count, my lil puter is filling up fast. So now i have to also delete the folders after uploading. i hope there are no server problems. i wont be able to sort out the sets when i'm not at home.
then i decide what gets updated when and i also write about each set and the photographer that shot it or the rigger that rigged it.
i also do a guest gallery once a week.
Well, at least this is finished. and when the new stuff comes in, i can move and alter the updates as i see fit when i'm on the road as long as images are sent to me and i've a puter to work on.
my head hurts from all that work!
i will have to do a little more as i will be gone elsewhere the first 2 weeks of June too.
also sent off summary to webdude of changes i've wanted.
i really need a new computer.
there's stil the packing to be taken care of.
but first unpack
ugh
