Paul Di’Anno er først og fremmest kendt for sin rolle som forsanger i legendariske Iron Maiden i årene 1977-81, hvor gruppen stod over for sit gennembrud. Han medvirkede på den selvfinancierede debut ’The Soundhouse Tapes’, som samtidig blev gruppens gennembrud, og på opfølgeren ’Iron Maiden’ fra 1980 samt ’Killers’ fra 1981.

Efter årene med Iron Maiden fortsatte Di’Anno sin musiske karriere, som soloartist og i andre band-sammenhænge (f.eks. Battlezone, Praying Mantis og Killers). Hans produktivitet er på intet tidspunkt stilnet af, og spille-lysten fejler heller ikke noget: De seneste mange år har Di’Anno turneret med sin ’The Beast Is Back’-tour, som har bragt ham og hans musikere til såvel Canada og Mexico som Finland og Serbien.

Nu lægger Di’Anno atter vejen forbi The Rock, og det kommer ikke til at gå stille af. Efter succes’en i 2005 er han blevet så glad for The Rock, at han dårligt kan vente med at gense sine entusiastiske fans!
