LAS VEGAS HELP?

anyone got ideas on good places to stay in Vegas for New |Years eve?
not too expensive!
not necessarily a hotel (could be home rental)

it's only for like 2-3 days so the home rental place ynl found didn't work out. they want longer.

still waiting on this guy from japan to show up.
he called almost an hour ago (i'm sure it was that long) and said he would take a taxi from CDG but he's still not here.
So while i wait
i can't nap
i can't shower

I woke up too early this am with too little sleep.
i want to sleep and there's very little time as the event starts at 8pm and it's 6pm now.
ugh.
and i'n hostessing a room so i have to be there.
this is not fun.

i'd rather watch DVDs and not go to the event at this point cuz i'm not going to have the energy to even deal with people!
