the bday party thing

so March 17th (yes, St Paddy's) is my birthday

i will be in london.
instead of Korean BBQ dinner, i was thinking tiki bar

so i wrote the venue and asked about their large party bookings.
luckily i did write because i've just learned that the place is closed on mondays.
luckily i didn't post about the thing before asking.

hmmm.
sunday is an option though!

Birthday things...

So usually I have a group of friends meet up for dinner, but this year I was thinking we cut to the chase and head directly to drinks - after all it IS St Paddy's day.

 But i didn't want just any bar. I wanted Tiki Bar.
Finally settled on South London Pacific even though it's SE11.
But they're not open on a Monday.

There's the new bar Mahiki ... it's quite posh and an A-list type of place, but then that also means A-list prices and I don't people to pay that much for tiki drinks. (after all, drinks aren't THAT expensive in the tropical places i've been to.

But if it's going to be a nice place, then Kaori suggested the Electric Birdcage.
Oh I can't say it's not posh, and bottle prices seem a bit much (especially when i think about converting $ to £!!)

I would like to go to a nice place for my birthday. I've contacted the venue about prices and group discounts.
But I do need to know about numbers.
So I need to know who would come out for some drinks on Monday the 17th of March in London!
So far looks like some peeps including allentg, kaori, e.vie, peter, david_tg and viktoria (who knows, they sometimes flake) charlotte, madmaxtattoo, ynl and _yungfuktoi_ (they better!) atsuko kudo n simon... still have to email some people not on LJ or myspace as well...gotta hit the LFS peeps too. la laaaaa

So tomorrow i head up to fd_midori's pad to stay for the weekend. It beats driving back n forth to Palo Alto. Plus, I can cab it for when i want to drink n stuff. We also have to finish up discussing Rome (maybe May), I want to start up something for us in Paris (May again - i'll be going for sure regardless), and we also have our show on Friday too!
If sfracerx decides to suffer the masses on Sat as my escort then at least she can drive and i can get drunk. If not, there are taxis though lugging all that shit  up with me will be a pain in the butt.

But in the evening I have to meet up with Paul Nathan to discuss and try n sort out the Fetish Evolution thingy. darenzia too.
(that's in just  15 days). I seriously wish i had more time to do it (and i also wish i was given the info about 2 months ago since i'm stage managing the main stage).

Gotta pick up candles.

FOR THOSE THAT WERE CURIOUS, i will be bringing up some latex to sell. You can go the stuff that hasn't been claimed (those i'd obviously set aside). I will be at the rehearsal on Saturday at NOON. That is when the Vex models are supposed to meet up. After that if anyone wants, they can go through the pieces.
Some basic and not so basic things. Some of the things are older but have held up quite nicely. Some of the pieces are like hip hugger pants (2 pairs). i've no business wearing with all the food i shove into my face during my travels. i think i may have worn them once... twice tops! there are other Vex separates (including the hair trimmed items), as well as a pair of Simon O jean cut pants with a checkered patterned front in white/trans/black.
