Anyone fly Air Canada before?
Lookin at flights from Montreal to Tampa on Aug 12
seems no one actually does that directly
and if i take the carrier i prefer, then i'd be flying back to the UK (doh!)
so, there are a variety of airlines i can chose from currently
NWA, AA, United, US air, Continental, Delta, Air Canada
Grrr Want BritishAir miles but that means i'd have to take AA and i'm going to skip that one after my last experience with them.
tho i suppose i can collect Virgin miles by going with Continental and their schedule doesn't look too bad and with a total travel time of just over 5 hours including the connection (an hour on the ground)
Question:
i know going through border control happens on the Canada side when flying into the US
but what if i fly from Montreal, to Toronto, then onwards into the USA? Will i be processed in Montreal or Toronto?
Air Canada has an early am flight into Toronto where I can sit in their lounge for a couple of hours before boarding the flight to Tampa.
no point in thinking i'm going to use it if my time is going to be queued up going through the US's immigration process in Toronto.
