twitter things

Loudtwitter is no longer working.
There was a crash, and it simply cost too much to maintain.
But the guy might try again.
there's a blog about it.

for a while, going through a friendslist was like the old LJ and full of actual blogs.
i'll bet no one noticed until they really noticed!

I did like having my tweets brought into my blog and kept in once place.
(minus the @ replies -  and at least behind a cut)
but then i noticed in RSS feeds it would all show up
and if it was annoying for me, it must have been just as bad for everyone else.

i found a new way to import my tweets into LJ.
I will try it for a day and see what it's like.
there doesn't seem to be any cut options or removal of replies as of yet
so i'm guessing i wont like it
but then it's free so one can't complain that much.
and there is an 'unsubscribe' button too.
