You lucky cunt. I have to say, I DID take some cool courses (lots of radio classes, I took SPCH212 - "Persuasion and Propaganda," and a bunch of foreign language/culture classes), but you get ALL the cool history classes.

Dunno if you're a gamer geek chick, but for those courses you might find Osprey Publishing books (http://www.ospreypublishing.com/) to be useful. They can be found at well stocked games and hobby stores that specialize in historical models rather than at your Barnes and Nobel. Most people outside my lunatic hobby don't know about them.

Cool. It's what I love about the goffick subculture. All the gorgeous women who also happen to be gamers and/or scifi fans. I even married one (http://www.livejournal.com/users/ringsnake/58022.html#cutid1)! :D (Four years married just a couple of days ago)

Sounds like wherever you go to school has some damned fun history courses. I wish my college had history courses like that; I'd end up majoring in it.

When does your Military History course begin, in terms of period. It ends at the Franco-Prussian war, which was a kind of neat time (Bismarck used that war to unite Germany; he was brilliant). Does it begin early enough that it covers the Romans? Now there was some military genius...

Anyway, just thought I'd drop a comment at your most entertaining schedule. I just stumbled upon your journal as I was browsing through certain circles of the lj community.
