Sounds like a post I answered recently on a forum. Someone complained on how fetish photographers only shoot models and pretty people, and glamourize the parties, and such. How they should cover the regular people and not so much the models.

Like fetish photographers do get paid to cover events. Most I know get zit from editorials or photoshoots. The lucky ones get to sell the photos on their websites, and get away with paying the models doint TFP. When people get some money, it basically pay the bills and the gear. Show me one rich fetish model or fetish photographer who got rich doing that, please. And I do mean rich :P

Anyway, I don't know why I bother posting it here, I don't even know you, LOL :P Anyway, I get what you mean... am fucking tired of hearing from girls who sleep into their cars in snowy winter nights, just to make it into an event and be a "fetish model". Oh, whatever, maybe this girl of yours will have her chance to live on hotdogs and spend tons of money just to show up in a magazine page in events far away from each other and become "internationa".
