and it'd  be nice to have videos again.


last day in london. got my ass to the barbican finally. well worth it to see gerda taro's and robert capa's stuff.
things i'd not seen. didn't get a book though. i have enough for now and they're just damn heavy.

so yesterday morning, headed out.
i like st pancras station a lot. spacious, clean, big.
got over to Luton for the flight over to Athens.
it seems like Krispy Kreme is taking over a bunch of airports - at least the ones i seem to be flying in/out of.





landed in athens, jumped in a taxi and headed to Omonia where the hotel was.
here's the staircase going up. otherwise, there are 2 little lifts with entertainment (in various languages) but unfortunately, it kind of sucks.
there's also this bird cage kind of things and when i got to my floor, i heard jungle noises. birds chirping n whatnot. kind of neat.







the rooms are themed. my happens to be Erotokritos.
there's a huge tin box in the storage/shelving unit that is filled with all sorts of games for couples.
need to get a shot of that. all the toys are for sale - overpriced though.





the outside of the hotel has these backlit images of fashion shows so at night it lights up all colorful.
this kind of sucks too because it seems the glass doors are locked so no balcony access.
and i can't air the room out when i smoke. the lighting set up also means i dont get the color from inside the room at night.







Fun in the loo. Korres products are the yum! and i was surprised to find mulitple shower jets as well as one from above.
i'm not too crazy about the actual toilet though. it's a bit large and round.







last nite i went to the HalfNote Jazz club and had a blast. Vagabond Opera were super and I ended up drinking a bit too much JD.
oops. i woke up feeling not too thrilled about it. had to rush over to Piraeus because the banks here close at 2pm. Got my account sorted and jumped in a cab back to the city, but protests were happening and Omonia was closed. Ended up taking the underground back and finally got rid of my headache by eating in the little airline themed cafe.








back in bed. need to get better shots of things.
my head hurts a lil but not too bad. food helped.
tonite is tiger lillies at the badmitton. i'm going to try and make it though motivation is lacking as it's a solo venture.

supposed to stay at Olga's tomorrow and check out of here, but i'm tempted to just stay another night rather than shift myself. :-)
