i still haven't completely unpacked from my last EU bounce.
but i figured i should get at my latex in case some things needed washing (especially if some hoods had make up on or something).

i'd also been lazy at putting things in the right places. so I had been tossing the latex filled bags in a small suitcase or else in a random container filled with other latex. Normally I keep things somewhat organized so I can find things as i need them
The larger containers keep:
catsuits and trousers/leggings
purses, etc
gowns
corsets
lube and repair items

the smaller boxes are for:
neck pieces/collars
gloves/gauntlets
flowers n hats (well the ones that are smooshable)
garter belts/knickers
stockings/socks
hoods
leather gloves

the dresser unit has:
dresses
tops
jackets/boleros
skirts
body suits
accesories

and of course a space for i-am-too-lazy-to-deal-with-this-now

i need more boxes as i have a bit too much going on.
the hoods n stocking are stuffed in there and if i wanted to fit the pieces sitting around in vienna or london, they wouldn't fit!

at least i got it somewhat decently organized. I'll get back to it when i'm not feeling so lazy.

Unfortunately, Satomi can't make the party we were going to perform at in Lyon.
But luckily, I have a perfectly wonderful back up!
I've already performed with Amrita in London several times, Essen, Rome, and Athens.
It'll be our first time performing together in France.
It's a new show I've come up with and instead of a super messy ink and paint covered girl, I'll be getting a little crispy!
(actually, i hope not).
There will be bondage (of course), suspension, and fire.
I can't wait to dress the stage. I've become used to the idea of performing on a stage that's been completely set rather than just jumping up and trying to do a show on a club stage which usually leaves a lot to be desired. I prefer being able to create an actual environment and this piece will require it in order to look good!

torture garden bday ball - elements of suffering show

kumimonster: (steen CloseUp)
Photo!
In Berlin [livejournal.com profile] zuckerrotermond  scored this really great location found inside (and beneath) a swimming pool hall.
We showed up earlier that day to shoot before Lukas & Satomi headed over with SaSa.

Right now Satomi is trying to arrange her schedule in order to meet me in Lyon for the Bal des Supplices event happening at the end of September. She's somewhat nearby, only she might be a bit rushed getting to/from events.
The one i have planned is going to be great - a bit of bondage, a bit of fire, a bit of ... well, I can't just give it away, but it'll be a very pretty one, and not as messy as some of the other shows have gotten!

Here's me trying to make it look like it didn't hurt I guess. There is a color version too, but for now, I think I like the B/W.

I ended up driving back to San Francisco Friday evening and on the way I decided to yank Samar out to distract her.
The weather has been spectacular and there wasn't even that much traffic like I feared - being Friday night n all plus the Pride weekend starting. Then add to that the Cybernet Expo convention...
*my camera on my phone sux so it looks like crap weather.

Going by city hall we saw the preparations for Pride happening...

We headed over to the Holiday Inn Golden Gate to meet up with the other models and people with the convention before taking the chilly walk over to the Red Devil Lounge.
This was the party sponsored by AsianDivaGirls.com but unfortunately the club got booked for something else so it wasn't all 'industry' people from the convention. Things had to remain a little bit calm.
Oh and when I went up to the bar i saw my friend Teddy from AGES ago. he directed an independent movie I participated in: Love Will Travel.
It was pretty good too.

This is Annie and her friend Chris. Later she will be naked and covered in sushi ;-)

Inside the bar, the girls were having a lil fun posing for the cameras. i forgot that I was supposed to be in that bunch.
of course, i was trying to snap while other flashes were going off so this is the best i got.

So back to the hotel where we all helped Annie out after her cold shower by covering her in seaweed, then sushi.

I started getting into some sort of discussion on Robert McNamara and stuff after that.

After a while, Samar and I left and I dropped her off before heading home.

so then
more pix at the moblog as usual.
:-)

Today's been all about being a lazy bum.
The weather is still great.
I'm still feeling a lil depressed.
But trying to fight it.
At least i'm not crying my head off or anything.
Just a basic feeling of... lethargy and blah.

The tickets for Pink Martini and the San Francisco Symphony were announced some time ago and I don't know why I put off getting tickets.
There were much cheaper ones than the $110 seats we ended up getting but by the time we got around to getting them both shows were just about sold out. Friday nite was sold out, but Thursday only had the 2 seats and we ended up getting those.

I was disappointed to see so many empty seats for a sold out show. I suppose some of them probably belonged to the scalpers on craigslist charging too much money. buttheads!

In the end, they were wonderful seats in the Loge and happened to be right above the box I was in the last time I was at Davies Symphony Hall.
I think we probably couldn't have chosen better seats although I know at the end of the show I wished I was down in the general audience when Brazil came on and Thomas Lauderdale left the piano and jumped into the audience to grab people for a conga line. I think Samar wanted to jump in too.

I don't recall the line up of songs. I don't have the program (samar has 'em) but I do remember that the show was super great overall.
I was elated to be there and some of the pieces were just amazing to watch and hear, especially those that featured individual musicians including Pansy Chang on cello and Nicholas Crosa on violin (his playing made me think about how sore my arm would be).
Watching the pianist was always fun, even if he wasn't actually playing.
I'm actually starting to recognize some of the regular symphony players. A few of them were featured during the evening and they were wonderful.
Oh and I liked the trombone dude Robert Taylor singing Veronique too :-) Me n Samar kept watching him play with his knees all bent.

This is Crosa playing at the Crystal Ballroom dec 08. (lol, last time i was there, i jumped off the stage to chase a pig's head)
Praeludium & Allegro
It was quite thrilling live and the sound at Davies is awesome - the video doesn't quite do it justice.

I wish I could find a video of Pansy playing her cello piece.
Well, I hope it's on the symphony album they're working on

I wasn't too thrilled with the version of "Ebben..." from La Wally but then I'm used to hearing Callas or Tebaldi sing it.
There was also another piece I could have done without. i wished I could have heard La Soledad or Mar Descondido instead.

In the end, I wish we could have gotten tickets for both nights and with other people too because I kept thinking how great the show was and how I wished other people could see it too. Hell, I think my parents would have totally loved it!
They're playing again in October in Santa Rosa,  but it will be without the symphony.

Some photos:
(again, better shots are from Samar's phone)

kumimonster: (masterThoodgrab)
Wednesday night (June 24) I drove up to San Francisco and picked up Samar so we could hit Bondage A GoGo.
it's been quite a long time since i've been.
We danced a bit but I think I failed at being all gothy because I was told i'm not supposed to dance n smile at the same time.
oh well.
We left before it got too late.

So the next day Samar had to do her beauty appointments while I stayed in and played the SF car parking game
(trying to move my car every 2 hours and avoid getting a ticket)
luckily the nice men at the autoshop were able to tell me if they'd see the ticket cop as they have to keep their customers' cars parked on the street as well.

we ended up at Brothers Korean BBQ and ate - a lot.

(samar's phone takes better photos)

At least playing the car parking game got me out to see how great the weather was. I almost wanted to take a nap on the sidewalk.
But I ended up distracting myself with a videogame inside, so I didn't even get to take a nap before the big show!

still being a lazy bum in general.
of course, being too sedentary does not help with trying to avoid being depressed n stuff.

at least I'm getting plenty of family time which is nice.
and my niece is starting to remember me again.
we all went out for father's day at our favorite chinese resto.

i think she's actually going to become addicted to it. she's already constantly asking for it and my parents never tell her no.
it's just as bad as putting her in front of the TV to watch spongebob.
at least she's learning stuff with it though, and the applications teach her things in japanese as well as english.

ok time to catch up once again.
before i forget everything...

last weekend in london ended up being full of ups n downs.
ended up at Torture Garden even though I wasn't working.
It was very quiet which is really nice especially after 2-3 months of giant fetish parties every weekend.
I actually didn't want to go out at all since it was going to be a pricey cab ride to/from and I was right about that -
but i did end up going because i wanted to see someone. :-)
and i got to wear my new Atsuko Kudo latex piece.

Woke up much too early and went for breaky.
Then headed over to Atsuko's shop again before heading home completely exhausted.
Didn't end up getting a nap in at all, and then had to get my bags sorted for my flight home.

The next night, my last night in London, went completely to shit.

Alarm went off at 8am. I know I didn't pass out the am before until sometime after 4h30.
Ended up having to have my cab turn around because I forgot my stupid purse with passport and housekeys at the house.
Had to jump the fence and my driver was kind of impressed. lol. necessity n all.
So then off to Heathrow and of course, the weather in London would have to be gorgeous n all.
And I missed out on flatmate's bday BBQ.

Never flew out of Terminal 3 before.
Had to keep reminding myself I was flying Virgin and not British Airways like I usually do.

I like terminal 5 much better. Terminal 3 annoyed me. what with having to wait for a door to open to allow others to pass by
(someone designed the building kind of oddly).

i also didn't get my upgrade or my meal request but it was ok. Good entertainment system and food was decent too.
Even fell asleep for a little bit.

San Francisco was also gorgeous.

The next night I went by my local bar.

All the rest of the photos are up at the MoBlog

i just found a foto set - well a litle icon of one - on a website
i liked the little foto so i made it an LJ icon
i wonder if they'll kick me down a lil sample to show off!

AsianDivaGirls.com

Seems CyberNet is in town this weekend too.
Damn city is going to be filled of pervert porn web people.
Might be a good time to go out! - Or maybe hide inside...

ooh la la
so one day i jumped into a car with [livejournal.com profile] mirja
it was driven by [livejournal.com profile] ropemarks
next to him Chantal played co-pilot
we went to a place in belgium called dendermonde to make some photos.
on the way we found a photographer (patrick ceuppens)

i was not happy at all to leave paris.
i might explain later -
but after only 2 nights there, i felt like caca having to leave
having to get to the gare du nord and then force myself to head to CDG and board my flight... i wanted to turn around.
but no, i had to get my ass to work and honor commitments.

so then, wow. border there was a bit stricter than london airports.
ended up explaining my life to an older - quite a bit older - gentleman who didn't quite understand the internet and the ability for people to actually not have to sit behind a desk in an office. but in the end, i think he got it.

In any case, june 5 i flew from paris to edinburgh - a completely new city for me, and i suppose a new country - depending on your opinion, though i guess Scotland is technically the UK. when listing my visited countries on that form at US customs, I didn't get to write SCO or anything like that, just UK. (which i didnt have to write more than once).

Got to hang out with B & F for the whole time and wow they were super nice. And omg i was getting over being sick. luckily it was quick.it seemed to get worse the day we shot, and then got better the day after my tourist day!

we were all going to check out the fetish party in glasgow but my sickness crap got the better of me. putting on latex and being unsocialable didn't seem like the best plan. so staying warm and drinking warm tea while feeling like crap seemed like more fun.

tourist day was pretty damn awesome too. went up to the castle and checked out that photo show i mentioned before. and [livejournal.com profile] princealbert  came by too.

the memorial is still in use. there are heavy books with current names and dates of all the soldiers who have died in service to their country.
i tried to find the last one but i only found one dated from 2006 - which i don't think seems plausible.
no photos of the inside. not allowed. i liked the way it was arranged in there though.

Eventually we left the castle and stumbled down the road.
went by a shop that featured fancy imports:

the dudes:

went for a drive: firth of forth (of thirth of fith of sith of seveth)

and then you wanna know what sucked?
having to leave edinburgh

Eric Martin dropped me off in Pigalle and that was the extent of my tourist photo shooting

i did like this poster though

So I arrived in Berlin to find the weather not at all like Lisbon.
It was pretty damn chilly, though it was only going to get worse - and better - at the same time:
downpours of rain with dark clouds and lightning interrupted by perfectly fine BBQ-ing weather!

[livejournal.com profile] zuckerrotermond  picked me up from the airport, then reminded me about my shoot the next day (May 28) with Torsten Solin.
He's the guy with the photographs of girls with enlarged eyes and boobs with dead animals.

The monkey i was supposed to work with wasn't taken out of the freezer soon enough so no monkey for me.
But I did get covered in paint. After the shoot there was a giant group dinner. I went directly there.

BombBoutique & [livejournal.com profile] zuckerrotermond  kissy face

([livejournal.com profile] lukaszpira  via [livejournal.com profile] madmaxtattoo 's head)

The sun came out a bit on the next day but no matter really. Jana & I loaded up her car to head over to an old bath house which was now being used as a galleryspace/nightclub/something. We shot a bit around one of the pools then were joined by SaSa, [livejournal.com profile] tokyolovedoll  & [livejournal.com profile] lukaszpira . Got tied up by Satomi but first shot with Lukas, then everyone bailed to get relax and prepare for the first party of the weekend: Kinky Cocktails.

When we got back home, S had made good with the skewers n BBQ:

On Saturday, headed over to Tegel to grab [livejournal.com profile] hedonydesign  so he wouldnt get all lost and stuff.
Went to the FetishGuerilla party that evening and I drank a bit.
(He's got photos at FetishBoudoir.com. Go to the Blog section).
We left about 2am-ish as I knew Sun was going to be a looong day - which it was.

Headed over to the Matrix (a lil late, but then i wasnt going to yell at myself and I wasn't stage manager) and met up with [livejournal.com profile] ropemarks  n chantal to go over our show. Got it sorted then off to the expo for a bit before attempting to head back to the pad for a siesta.

I got no siesta though. had to sort music for show. By the time [livejournal.com profile] zuckerrotermond  [livejournal.com profile] hedonydesign  and I got to the matrix that evening, I was pretty tired. But got dressed up n walked around a bit. Saw a ton of people and then got ready for my show which got very messy.
Again, more photos at FetishBoudoir.com shot by [livejournal.com profile] hedonydesign  - go to the Blog section).

Ended up leaving with Jana at a decent time sort of. We were back at the house and I passed out around 5am.
I don't know what happened but I woke up around 10am without a hangover. I didn't look for it though.
Quite amazing after all the sekt and JD i put away.

Eric Martin came over to shoot and I ended up being a lazy bum so he worked with Jana all day.
In the end, I put some make up on to do a quicky shoot with [livejournal.com profile] hedonydesign  as well.
Then afterwards we went to this yummy place for dinner - which sucked massively on service.
Took us 5 hours to eat. well, after waiting over 2 hours for the first bits of food to arrive.

Eric and Jacques got their food last, but then just before digging in, it was taken away and given to another table.
They were not happy at all, but when it came time to pay for the meal, we ended up getting money back. Go figure.

(happy people at dinner)

The next day was another shoot with Eric Martin (he must be sick of looking at me by now and i think Jack must thing i'm the laziest model in the world) with Sinteque.
I said goodbye to

[livejournal.com profile] hedonydesign  who had to head back to Paris, then we got our faces on and headed out towards Ostkreuz to this area with some old buildings. After that, we came back to the house and shot in Atsuko Kudo stuff together before dinner (which did not take 5 hours).

One more shooting the next day for some content. Latex and water in the tub (I got shoved in).
Then it was time to pack and head off to the airport once again!

Speaking of being sick of seeing me, it seems that Eric & his buddy Jacques missed their flight, so they were bumped back to my flight. :-p HAH

Paris or bust!

Back in Paris!

on may 21 we shifted places and ended up at the VIP Grand Hotel in Lisbon.
the bathtub was huge and had a marble slab to lean back on.
also a big glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom.

the next day (may 22) we took a trip to Belém to check out things.
there happened to be a big graduation ceremony of sorts for firemen i'm guessing
lots of guys in uniform and yet i was pretty exhausted and in a bad mood so i wasn't returning any smiles at all!

i loved the movement thing for this naval cannon

royal barge room was cool

heading back to the hotel, [profile] mistress_sandra  noticed this on the street

this stuff rocks
it's pure cheesy - non-crusty goodness. i hear it's quite fattening

Sunday (the 24th) after the party, Sandra found herself trapped in bed due to having too much fun.
I hit the Japanese resto and had an interview at the hotel.

the last nite in LIsbon (May 26) was fancy dinner night. my fotos of the resto aren't so good though :(
but i did have yummy scallops

the last day was mourning the impending doom (aka: leaving lisbon)
