hello LJ world.
yes. I need to use this more.
at least I keep my moblog updated.
it's June now. another year half-gone.
just been working, schooling, and rockmed-ing.
oh, and trying to get more diving in too.
Did my first boat-dive out of Monterey.
I've only ever did shore stuff up here.
Gotta say, it was nice not having the long surface swim out, and not having to climb up a sandy beach.
It was also great seeing humpback whales put on a show.
What sucked was a delayed start (captain was late) and a long trip out towards Carmel.
Actually, it wasn't the length of the journey, it was the boat and the diesel fumes that wafted back and seemed to settle where the tanks and gear were set up. You know, at the aft, where the majority of seats were? And in the enclosed cabin space? There too. In fact, I started to get drowsy and feel sick due to lack of oxygen (motion sickness isn't a problem for me). I ended up going forward where waves pelted the other divers - who were pretty much all in full dive gear (minus tanks & BCDs).
I skipped the 1st dive because of raging headache and feeling ill - which was a good idea. Did the 2nd and 3rd dives tho.
Over all, fun day. Not sure I'd charter that boat again, cuz the diesel issues just sucked. However the crew was super great and friendly.
hello LJ world.
still looking for new normal work job thing. i should say, new career actually.
After I got back from Hawaii, there was an eclipse. I tried to go see it for a bit but it was cold I was feeling really tired.
I didn't have energy to stay out and wait so went home. Eventually I poked my head out of the house to see the moon turn red though.
Saw some friends from high school just before xmas. Meet up was at Nolas in Palo Alto. yum! i got the dessert platter.
Tried their pumpkin spice coffee too. more yum!
(Click on link below for video)
xmas eve with family...
oh and that sore throat cough cough thing i had last week wasn't what i thought it was.
it seems my old root canal tooth (upper right) was acting up. the space above was totally infected.
the original problem started at the UC Dental in San Francisco so it wasn't Mexico related.
I woke up Xmas morning around 5am in pain and although ibuprofen helped at first, by evening i was miserable,
Ended up having dad drive me to Stanford which doesn't offer dental care.
They didn't believe me when I said I didn't have a cavity problem, but an infection. (My face felt def larger on my right side).
They did give me an Rx for antibiotics and Vic.
The next day I was still in pain. I got in touch with my local dds and arranged to meet the following day.
But later on, she called and asked to see me that evening even though it was the day after xmas and they were closed.
I guess she thought it was an emergency enough. (By this time I could feel my nerves reacting to spots under my eye, near my ear and down my neck. My bite had been flat but now my tooth was extended well below it). OMG crying like a baby in the chair. It hurt so bad. I would've much rather gotten my back pierced again (which didn't actually hurt anyway). Luckily the nitrous helped a lil - i think.
In any case, everything is going down now. The infection has drained. And I have one less tooth, but it wasn't worth saving. I'll have to get an implant later but now I shouldn't have any future problems.
For NYE i went up to SF. party at Violet Blue/DotBen's pad. there were lots of ppl I got to see that I haven't seen in a long time. People that I actually like rather than just a bunch of fetish people I *had* work with. (Not that I don't miss seeing some of them - I do like a few!).
Didn't really drink that much alcohol. Didn't get drunk but had fun regardless. :-D
moblog link is at
it's easy, it's nice, and it's got free wifi and a smoking area after security.
instead of heading back to california, i decided to stop off in phoenix to visit cookie and steve during their arizona heat fetish party weekend.
i wasn't booked to work or anything, i just figured i'd spend time with them and also enjoy the hot weather (since i didn't get enough of it in florida!)
2010 August 10 - TPA to PHX
2010 August 11 - Phoenix
Cookie thought it was a good idea to hit a goth club.
so we went. my face looks chubby sometimes.
so taco bell was needed.
2010 August 12 - Tempe
lots of sun. cookie worked out. i stayed lazy at the pool
2010 August 13 - Tempe
cooking for cookie (ok not really)
2010 August 14 - Scottsdale
we shifted over to the hotel for the weekend - that way i could spend more time at the pool. actually, it was more convenient for the party.
i just like going to the pool. it was so hot. and the room i was in ended up having a busted a/c unit. i usually don't like a/c but it's nice to have a little bit of a cool room when it's 110+ outside and around 100 inside.
oh, the main show that night was lords of acid and thrill kill kult. i'd not seen them in ages.
not really my type of music but hanging out with friends was nice.
2010 august 16 - PHX to SJC
flew back to california :-)
phoenix airport is cool too. the giant window at the end of the D gates is great for watching planes take off.
oh, and free wifi too!
idiot me passed out before i could remember to stay awake and get shots of the grand canyon tho.
i'm right next to my bed but i think i need to stay out of it for a little while since i've been in it since Sunday (except for bathroom visits and that one trip to the post office).
I want this coughing part to get done with. gross coughing stuff up.
i think i'm just about done watching period drama films for the week (think austen, bronte, gaskell).
i need some gangster violence. time to pull out some yakuza and triad stuff.
the paperwork arrived. I had to pay for the express service.
Not only because the time was running out, but also because i start to get anxious when i don't have my Passport.
I feel trapped and very uneasy.
It was making me feel a little frantic (and it was only one day and I wasn't going anywhere exciting - much less getting out from under my heavy blanket).
It's back now!
Though I'm running out of pages again. I thought I just got pages added to this thing.
I guess China no longer issues VISAs where single or multiple entries need to be specified. Instead, it's all multiple.
So now, I can visit China freely for the next year with each stay lasting no more than 60 days.
i guess i should try and include another visit to a city outside of Hong Kong into my travel plans for this year.
Probably before or after Australia/New Zealand.
but i just realized how exhausted i am.
especially after hitting the club last nite.
oh, driving home and passing the airport (SFO) gives me a chill. it's a good chill. something that makes me happy and thrilled. i've noticed it happen before, but i usually just ignore it. maybe a coincidence or just something. well, i guess it's certain. SFO gives me a thrill.
oh, and my passport is back. with a shitload more pages. now i feel normal again. before, i felt a bit naked without it. like i was missing something. like i was trapped. i didn't like that. almost like i was chained to the ground (well, at least the ground that the United States claims as its own). now that my passport is back, i feel somewhat free again.
tho at the moment, the only place i think i'm going is to bed... speed dreams perhaps...
picked up this magazine at the airport

Από Κορεάτισσα μητέρα και Ιρλανδό πατέρα (γεννημένη όμως στην California) , η Kumi τα τελευταία 10 χρόνια έχει γίνει όνομα αναφοράς στη παγκόσμια fetish κοινότητα, είτε με την modeling ιδιότητά της (με εξώφυλλα στα Skin Two, Marquis, Alufem, Τhe Beauty Of Fetish Vol 1&2, Tigerize, Masterpieces Of Erotic Photography και δεκάδες άλλα), είτε με την ιδιότητα της bondage και suspension performer.
